Dear Parents,
We will have a snack available to all students as a choice during one of the table center work times each day. We will put a small amount of snack into a small size paper cup, or if it is prepackaged 1 item out for students to eat. It will be the choice of each student to eat a snack, or not each day
In order to provide a daily snack to each student, we request that each child bring in enough of a snack to share with 25 students at the beginning of every month. Please bring in non-refrigerated, healthy snacks for our classroom. If your child chooses to bring in a “treat snack” (cookies, candy…) we will use them sparingly throughout the year.
If you would like to bring in a treat on your child’s birthday that will count as his /her sharing snack for that month, you do not need to bring in another snack that month.
Suggestions of what to bring each month for snack time:
1 package of 3oz, or 5oz paper cups
Boxes of crackers
Boxes/ Bags of Snack Mixes
“Cutie” mandarin oranges
Pretzels
Fruit snacks (preferably made with fruit juice)
Quaker Granola Bars
Be creative, but please keep in mind that all food eaten at school MUST BE STORE BOUGHT.
Also please keep the snacks you bring in as healthy as possible.
